Ivaan Kotulsky left the planet on 6 December 2008, but so much of him remains here on earth - his art, his humour, his photographs, his huge personality, his generous heart, his optimistic spirit, his boundless love, together with our memories of him - that this blog is a virtual Museum of Ivaan.

SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED
This is what the City of Toronto installed yesterday. Two of them, one at each end of Ivaan Kotulsky Lane. Just in time for Yom Kippur and his birthday. I like to think Ivaan would be a bit proud of himself today.
Hi Eya - I was just checking your Blog and found this about Ivan Kotulsky Lane. I'm wondering where it is? I think it is wonderful that my old friend has had a Toronto lane named after him, but - neither Google Maps nor the Toronto website have any record of where it might be that I can find. I hope you are well and happy Eya. I wear his belt buckle often and think of him and you.
Ah - now I see that you have written more detail in your June 11 2017 link. Eya - I will drop by sometime to see his lane and maybe do something really silly but meaningful to me by dabbing a drop of patchouly oil on the signpost. Love to you - ~ Bill ~
The patchouli oil would be meaningful to me, as well, Bill. In fact, you wouldn't even have to bring your own, as I keep a vial of it here. Sometimes, when I have to do something that requires creativity I do not possess, I dab a drop of it on my wrist and I imagine it helps. Drop by when you get a chance. It will be good to see you. eya
